I wanted to introduce my younger students to the colorful world of travel in art class. Our first destination was the city of London. My first grade artists learned about the key icons and landmarks of the famous city.
Using construction paper and tempera paints, my students delighted in making double decker buses, Big Ben and the Tower Bridge.
Plus, we created a large mural of the city of London while mastering some basic art concepts, while creating these fun, adorable art projects.
