Found Objects Landscapes

Recycle Reuse Repurpose-002Hey Folks. If you’re like me and never want to throw stuff away you acquire alot of items.

Many of my items come from people who think I will use it eventually.
Well, this is the project.
I had many items collected over
time – foam shapes that were just laying around, bottle caps from a recycling project, tissue paper and pipe cleaners from a retiring teacher, cardboard from a parent who just had a stack hanging around – you know the stuff.
I had my art club students create some type of landscape with the recycled “found” donated objects.

First, we talked about what makes a landscape.
They painted beautiful skies and grounds.

Of course, there were many colors to choose from but most wanted a blue sky!

We talked about different curvy clouds and sensational swirls in the sky…

Once the paintings had dried,
we added various “found” items such as pop caps, foam shapes, pipe cleaners and tissue paper etc.

Some items needed Tacky Glue to
stay on the cardboard paintings.

 Other items just needed
